The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) designs transportation projects to make walking, biking, and riding transit great travel options. Every year, SDOT installs new bicycle lanes and shared lane markings (sharrows) and constructs new bike trails and greenways to make it easier to get around the city by bike. Visit their website to find more information about past and upcoming projects that improve conditions for bicycling in Seattle.
